Passmark

Building an export pack

UPDATED 24.10.2026 · 5 MIN

An export pack is one set of stamped documents per shipment. Passmark records a fingerprint of every document, so your buyer or bank can check any page against the register from the pack link.

Before you startYou need a valid seal and at least one document in your Document vault. Owners and Editors can stamp packs. Your documents must be final: changing any document after stamping means it will fail the check.
  1. 1
    Start a pack

Open Export packs and choose New pack. The steps are Seal and shipment, Documents and Review and stamp.

  2. 2
    Choose the seal and shipment

Under Which seal covers this shipment? pick the seal and enter a Shipment reference. You can add the buyer, container, buyer country, quantity and ports. The buyer is for your own records and never shown on the pack link.

  3. 3
    Pick the stamp ink

Choose Navy for colour print or Black, which is photocopy and fax safe. See Choosing navy or black ink.

  4. 4
    Choose the documents

Select the vault documents that belong to this shipment. Expired, replaced or unread documents cannot be stamped. See why a document cannot be stamped.

  5. 5
    Review and stamp

Tick that these are the final versions, then choose Stamp N documents (it shows the number). If stamping fails, your draft is saved so you can try again.

What you get

Each document gets a stamp, bottom right of the last page. You get a pack link that opens a page listing every document with its hash, plus the live state of the seal.
