Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Passmark. By using the service you agree to them.

The service

Passmark provides compliance-intelligence tools (including a compliance checker, document vault, assessments and an AI assistant) and a trust benchmark (the Passmark Score) with a shareable profile. We offer a free plan and, in future, paid plans.

Not professional or legal advice — verify with official sources

Passmark provides information and tools to help you understand compliance requirements. It is not legal, regulatory, customs or professional advice, and it is not a guarantee that any consignment will be accepted by any authority or buyer. Regulatory requirements change and vary by consignment. Our regulatory data is researched and reviewed but may be incomplete or out of date, and some of it is expressly marked as draft. Always verify requirements against official regulatory sources, the destination authority, and your buyer before shipping. AI-generated output is informational only and may contain errors.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for activity under your account, and for keeping your credentials secure.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempts to break security or access other organisations' data, no uploading of content you don't have the right to store, and no misrepresentation of your compliance status.

Your content

You retain ownership of the documents and information you upload. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process and display that content to operate the service and your profile as you direct.

The Passmark Score and profiles

Your score is calculated from the evidence you provide using our published methodology. It reflects compliance readiness — it does not guarantee any commercial outcome, and "verification" reflects our review process as described on the site, not a warranty about your goods.

Payment

Paid plans, when available, will be billed in Ghana cedis via our payments processor. Terms specific to paid plans will be presented at purchase.

Intellectual property

Passmark, its brand, software and content (excluding your content) are ours or our licensors'. You may not copy or resell the service.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from your reliance on compliance information without independent verification. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using Passmark at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.
