Passmark

Checking a document against the register

UPDATED 24.10.2026 · 3 MIN

A stamped certificate, invoice or export pack carries a fingerprint Passmark recorded. You can check that your copy matches it.

  1. 1
    Open the seal's check page

Use the seal ID on the document to open its check page.

  2. 2
    Choose the file

In Check a document, drop a PDF or choose a file. PDFs up to 25 MB are accepted.

  3. 3
    Read the answer

Passmark hashes the file on your device and compares it with the register.

The answers

  • Document matches: Passmark stamped this document on that date under this seal, and it has not been changed since.
  • Document does not match: Passmark has no record of stamping this file. It has been changed, or it was never stamped. Ask the sender for the original and do not rely on this copy.
  • Stamped under a different seal: the page tells you which seal, and links to check it.
  • This file belongs to a withdrawn pack or a pack that is withheld: do not rely on it. Ask the holder for a current pack link.

If the seal itself is suspended, expired or revoked

A genuine document does not make the seal current. The page tells you the seal's state next to the document result.
