Reading a seal check result
The result at the top of the check page tells you whether to rely on the seal today.
The results
- Valid seal: current until the date shown. A renewed seal shows its version, and the earlier version is archived below.
- Valid, expiring soon: current but expires on the date shown. Check again after that date.
- Suspended: under review. The score is frozen. Do not treat the seal as current.
- Expired: expired and not renewed. The record below is archived.
- Revoked: the seal cannot be relied on. Do not rely on any label, certificate or badge that carries this ID.
- Seal withheld: withheld while Passmark reviews the holder.
- Unknown status: do not rely on this seal.
What else is on the page
The seal record (holder, product, destination, tariff code, issued, valid until, version), how the score is made, and the seal history. The documents behind a seal are private; use Contact holder to request copies.
