Reporting a fake or misused seal

If a seal looks fake, is used for the wrong product, or is still shown after it was suspended, revoked or expired, you can report it.

Before you startCheck first. A seal is only valid if its check page says so.

    Open the report page

    On a check page where no seal matches, choose Report this ID. You do not need an account.

    Say what you saw

    Choose A fake or altered seal, Used for the wrong product or market, Shown after suspension, revocation or expiry, or Something else.

    Add the details

    Add the seal ID if you have it, where you saw it, and what happened (20 characters or more). Your email is optional.

    Send

    Choose Send report. You get a report reference.

What happens next

Passmark compares the report with the register, contacts the holder, and suspends or revokes the seal if the rules were broken. The seal holder is not told who reported. Your email is only used to tell you the outcome.
