Checking a Passmark seal
Anyone can check a seal for free on the public register. You see the seal as it stands today, not a copy.
- 1Find the seal ID
The ID is printed under the QR code on every label, certificate and badge. IDs look like PM-GH-0518-SH-EU.
- 2Open the check page
Scan the QR code, which opens the page directly. Or go to Check a seal, enter the Seal ID and choose Check seal.
- 3Read the result
The top of the page says what state the seal is in. See reading a seal check result.
- 4Compare it
Compare the card on the page with the one you were shown. Any label, PDF or badge that differs from the page should not be trusted.
Not found?
No seal matches this ID. Check it for typing errors. If it came from a label, certificate or website, it may not be genuine, because Passmark does not issue seals that are missing from this register. You can report it.
