What to do when a seal is suspended
A suspension means Passmark has put your seal under review. Buyers who check it see Suspended and are told not to treat it as current. Act on it quickly, because a review period is running.
- 1Open the seal
Go to Seals and open the suspended seal. A banner on your dashboard also links to it. The seal page shows the Reason given, how many days are left of the review period (30 days unless the page says otherwise), and your options.
- 2Stop using new stamps and labels
Do not print or apply new stamps or labels while the seal is suspended. Ones already in circulation point at the check page, which shows the suspension.
- 3Fix the cause
Upload the missing or renewed documents the reason refers to. If it is not fixed by the end of the review period, the seal expires and you must apply to renew.
- 4Or appeal
If you think the decision is wrong, or the cause is already fixed, appeal it within 14 days. While an appeal is open the seal stays suspended and the review clock is paused.
Only an Owner can act on the seal
Applying, renewing and appealing are Owner actions. Other roles can read the seal page.
