What you need for Türkiye

Phytosanitary & Quality

Phytosanitary Certificate (issued ≤14 days before shipment)

Türkiye’s Plant Quarantine Regulation (Official Gazette 6 May 2026, No. 33245, in force 4 August 2026) requires the original phytosanitary certificate for plant products entering the country, issued to ISPM 12 in Turkish or English and addressed to Türkiye. It must be issued no more than 14 days before the shipment date (Art. 22). The importer pre-notifies the consignment electronically (by sea at least 24 hours before arrival). The regulation’s annexes set which products are subject to plant-health control.
