Show your seal only for the product and market it covers, always use the versions Passmark generates, and stop using it if it is suspended or revoked. The summary is not a substitute for the rules below.
1Who these rules apply to
These rules apply to every holder of a Passmark seal, and to anyone who displays a Passmark seal, badge, stamp or label.
2Where you may show the seal
You may show a seal only for the product and destination market it was issued for.
- On your website, using the live badge served by Passmark
- On export documents, using the PDF stamp added by Passmark
- On sacks, cartons and pallets, using labels generated by Passmark
3Website badge
- Always link the badge to its check page. An unlinked badge is a misuse.
- Do not screenshot, redraw or recolour the badge.
- Keep clear space on every side equal to a quarter of the badge height.
- Do not use a size smaller than compact.
4Stamps and printed labels
Stamps and labels never show a score, band or state, because they outlive them. They carry the seal ID and a QR code that opens the check page.
- QR code at least 15 mm wide, with a 2 mm quiet zone
- Seal ID in a monospaced face, at least 7 pt
- Print on white or unbleached stock, in one colour
5When a seal changes
If a seal is suspended, expired or revoked, the live badge and the check page update straight away. You must stop applying new labels and stamps for that seal until it is current again.
6Misuse
Showing a seal for the wrong product or market, altering a stamped document, or showing a revoked seal may lead to suspension of all your seals. Report suspected misuse to hello@getpassmark.com.
