Supplier documents for the importer's FSVP (Foreign Supplier Verification Program)

The US importer (the US owner or consignee) must run a Foreign Supplier Verification Program for each food and supplier: identify the hazards, evaluate and approve the supplier, and verify it through audits, sampling and testing or record review. For a Ghanaian exporter this arrives as buyer questionnaires, document requests and audits.
