Working offline in the field app
Everything you map is saved on the phone first and uploaded when there is signal, so a poor connection never loses a farm.
What the status bar tells you
- Offline · N items saved on this phone: you are out of signal and nothing is lost.
- Online · N items to upload: it is uploading; choose Sync now to push it.
- N items need attention: something failed. The farm is still saved on the phone; choose Retry.
- All uploaded: nothing is waiting.
Check the queue
Open the Waiting to upload list to see each farm and photo as Saved on phone, Syncing, Synced or Failed. A failed item says Nothing is lost: it is still saved on this phone.
Signing out
If farms have not uploaded yet, Passmark warns you. They stay on the phone until you sign in again and sync. A farm saved by another account on the same phone can be removed with Remove unsynced data from this phone, but it cannot be recovered after that.
If the phone will not save
Private browsing or a full phone can block storage. Open Passmark in a normal browser window and free some space.
